This workshop will take place on Thursday, December 10th, from 10-11am at Momentum Dance Academy in Burien, WA
FatChanceBellyDance Style consists of a vast vocabulary of movements that are strung together in an improvisational lead & follow format to create a dynamic performance. Often times, the transition spaces between movements (especially in the slow vocabulary) get rushed or lost. This workshop will teach you how to move smoothly between pieces of vocabulary, embrace “empty” space as part of the dance, and develop your skills as both a leader and follower through the spaces between movements. This workshop requires at least some fundamental knowledge of level 1 slow vocabulary movements.
